Dorothy’s Market Clerk – Part Time

Location: Mt. Sterling, IL

Department: Dorothy’s Market

Reports To: Dorothy’s Market Manager

Wage Range: $15.32 - $19.69

This position consists of a variety of duties including but not limited to customer service activities, operating a cash register, maintaining store conditions, and processing inventory.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Manages customer check-out through the cash register
• Stocks shelves (dry, frozen, or refrigerated) as needed
• Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
• Assists in merchandising product within the store
• Assists in the cleaning of store shelves and immediate work area
• Assists in identifying and pricing product ready to go to the floor
• Assists in receiving and processing delivery trucks daily

YOU MUST HAVE

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Professional, positive communication skills
• Must be able to lift 50 Lbs

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• Previous computer experience

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Part time; Varied hours Monday- Saturday 8am-8pm and Sunday 10am- 6pm
• 24-32 hours per week
• Presents a helpful and positive image to customers and answers questions as needed
• A friendly, customer service oriented environment
