About the Role

As a Canvasser/Appointment Setter, you'll visit neighborhoods, introduce Elevation Restoration's services, and schedule property inspections for the sales team. Your focus is on making a professional first impression, identifying interested homeowners, and setting up a clear next step.

Experienced team members handle roof inspections, damage identification, and estimating. Your role centers on homeowner outreach and appointment setting. Prior canvassing experience is especially helpful as the company expands its field team. This can also be a starting point for developing experience in roofing and restoration sales, with potential to move into broader sales responsibilities as your knowledge grows and opportunities become available.

The work involves walking between homes, standing, speaking with residents, and working outdoors in changing weather conditions. Business activity is strongest during spring, summer, and fall, particularly following storms, with a winter slowdown. The company typically winds down around Christmas.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit neighborhoods to introduce Elevation Restoration and its exterior restoration services.
• Start friendly, respectful conversations with homeowners.
• Identify homeowners interested in roofing, siding, gutter, or storm damage inspections.
• Explain the purpose of an inspection without making promises about damage or insurance coverage.
• Schedule inspection appointments for experienced sales representatives.
• Record homeowner contact information, appointment details, and relevant conversation notes.
• Share lead information with the sales team to support a smooth handoff.
• Follow up as needed to help confirm appointments.
• Represent the company professionally and respect homeowners' decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Confidence approaching homeowners and starting face-to-face conversations.
• Willingness to perform door-to-door outreach consistently.
• Clear communication and attentive listening skills.
• Reliability, honesty, and strong follow-through.
• Ability to stay professional when a homeowner declines or is not interested.
• Ability to perform outdoor neighborhood outreach, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Willingness to learn about the company's services and work closely with the sales team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous canvassing, appointment-setting, or door-to-door sales experience.
• Experience in roofing, siding, home improvement, or storm restoration.
• Experience generating leads through direct customer outreach.

Compensation

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Pay: $900 - $1500 per week Plus commission-based earnings. 
• Commission opportunities: 15%-50% of final project profit, depending on the agreed compensation structure. Candidates receiving base pay have a lower commission percentage.
