Motivated door technician to join Johnson City team. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in garage door installation, construction, mechanical repair, or maintenance. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with prior hands-on experience in the field.
Key responsibilities include installing and repairing both residential and commercial overhead doors, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and servicing various garage door operators such as LiftMaster, Genie, Chamberlain, and more. The role requires the ability to read measuring devices, use hand and power tools, and perform basic electrical troubleshooting. Welding or fabrication experience is a plus. A valid driver's license with a clean record, as well as the ability to pass background and drug screenings, are necessary.
Candidates should expect to bend, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods and work in diverse weather conditions. Safety, customer service, time management, and teamwork are essential skills required for success.
