We are seeking a skilled and reliable Door Installer to join our team in Novi, MI. The ideal candidate has experience installing commercial door entry systems and is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
• Install, repair, and replace commercial doors, frames, and related hardware.
• Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of installed doors and assemblies.
• Work with a variety of materials including hollow metal, wood, FRP, and aluminum.
• Install and adjust closers, exit devices, locksets, and other door hardware.
• Maintain awareness of ADA, NFPA 80, and NFPA 101 requirements as they apply to commercial openings.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including job sites and company vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members.
• Document work performed and communicate any issues or change orders promptly.
• Follow company procedures and safety protocols at all times.
• Proven experience as a commercial door installer or in a related trade.
• Familiarity with hollow metal frames, wood doors, and fire-rated assemblies preferred.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and work on ladders or lifts as needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.
