The Kind of Work Youll be Doing:
- Manage direct mail marketing projects by completing specific data requests, assigning tasks with deadlines to freelancers and vendors, and approving direct mail pieces within a pre-set budget.
- Lead creative meetings by developing creative briefs that guide decision-making on both strategic and creative directions, ensuring that the execution of campaigns aligns with the approved strategy and supports fundraising performance goals.
- Prepare quarterly project presentations, analyzing previous appeals to inform upcoming projects. Evaluate and analyze the results of direct marketing programs to determine the effectiveness of individual donor segments, making adjustments to future efforts to maximize response rates and net income.
- Lead the US Development Campaigns by collaborating directly with the Executive and Associate Directors. Analyze the results of previous US Development campaigns and propose new testing strategies. Work with freelancers to introduce creative approaches and cost-saving solutions to maximize outcomes. Approve drafts and final art for communications sent to direct mail lists, review mailing samples, and identify any errors.
- Oversee and collaborate with a team of freelance writers, designers, proofreaders, and data specialists to ensure consistent deliverables that align with branding, design standards, and strategic fundraising objectives.
- Manage the gift catalog process, which includes analyzing previous gift catalog results in preparation for creative and strategy meetings; working with freelancers and partnering ministries to establish a timeline and agreed-upon layouts to reduce costs; and researching the market for new ideas and creative approaches to continually test new strategies and improve results.

Required Experience:
Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in development, along with professional writing experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
