Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Donor Database Specialist for a mission-driven nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to advancing policies and programs that address hunger in the United States and around the world. This is a temporary/interim, hybrid opportunity based in Washington, DC.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Donor Database Specialist will provide hands-on support within Raiser's Edge NXT, helping maintain accurate donor and constituent records while addressing database cleanup and outstanding data needs. This role will support imports, reporting, data quality, and day-to-day fundraising database operations. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, confident navigating Raiser's Edge, and able to independently tackle database projects once trained.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain, clean, and update donor and constituent records within Raiser's Edge NXT.
Identify and resolve duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent database records.
Support data imports, bulk updates, exports, and quality control.
Create database queries, donor lists, reports, and other requested data pulls.
Reconcile information across Raiser's Edge NXT, Engaging Networks, and related fundraising systems.
Assist with outstanding database projects and day-to-day development operations needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong hands-on experience with Raiser's Edge NXT and/or Raiser's Edge Database View.
Experience managing donor, constituent, gift, or fundraising data.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
Experience with Engaging Networks or similar fundraising technology is a plus.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This temporary position offers an anticipated hourly pay range of $30-$33 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and final client budget. Additional information regarding the temporary assignment duration, schedule, onsite requirements, and available benefits will be shared as confirmed.
