    Compensation Considerations:

    This position is seated in NJ responsible for error corrections and equipment maintenance, repair and use of equipment. Performs preventative maintenance of equipment, assists counterparts in other regions as needed. Generates reports in QMS, Performs all assigned duties in compliance with SOPs. Candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to work independently.

    Your impact as an Equipment Specialist is vital. You will support Vitalant’s life-saving mission by being responsible for all processes related to production equipment.

    What to Expect 

    Salary: $22.89 to $29.63 hourly

    Salary is commensurate with a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

    Schedule: Monday- Friday 8-4:30 pm

    As an Equipment Specialist, you’ll get to:  

    Responsible for all processes related to production equipment. Performs equipment ordering, installation, validation, and qualification to ensure compliance with applicable standard operation procedures and/or equipment operator manuals. Responsible for maintaining accurate records related to equipment management program (CMMS).

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Knowledge or Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED required 

    • A two or four year technical degree preferred

    • Training skills with experience preferred.

    • Three years of relevant work experience required.

    • Three years equipment validation and maintenance experience preferred.

    Skills/Abilities

    • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.

    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

    • Quality focus and attention to detail.

    • Ability to problem-solve.

    • Ability to work independently.

    • Create and maintain a safe and effective work environment.

    • Equipment testing, calibration, maintenance and process improvement.

    • Language skills must include the ability to read, write, speak English effectively and follow oral and written instructions consistent with policies and procedure, SOPs or other requirements.

    • Must be able to interpret information, instructor explain.

    • Ability to communicate clearly and have the skills necessary to provide excellent services to internal and external customers.
