The Donation & Transportation Lead is a hands-on leadership role focused on keeping daily operations running smoothly across donation centers and transportation activities. This position supports teams, improves processes, and ensures resources are used effectively to meet operational goals. It plays an important role in building a strong team culture, maintaining high standards of service and safety, and helping the organization adapt to changing needs. The role requires a dependable and organized leader who can manage multiple priorities, solve problems quickly, and contribute to a positive experience for donors, customers, and staff

Duties:

  • Lead and coach donation attendants, drivers, and warehouse staff
  • Ensure all donation centers are fully staffed, clean, and operating efficiently
  • Coordinate donation events, schedules, and transportation routes
  • Track performance metrics, reports, and inventory within budget
  • Resolve donor/customer concerns with professionalism
  • Oversee safety compliance, training, and equipment usage
  • Partner with leadership on fleet management, maintenance, and operations

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of supervisory/operations experience (retail, logistics, or similar)
  • Strong leadership, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage teams, data, and multiple priorities
  • Comfortable with MS Office and reporting tools
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
