Donated Goods Coordinator

Location: Charlotte, NC | Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM | Contract: 4 months | Pay: $21-$22/hr.

We are seeking a hands-on Donated Goods Coordinator to support the receiving, sorting, inventory, and distribution of donated items for a nonprofit organization in Charlotte. This is a 4-month contract role that requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide professional, friendly service.
• Accept, unload, sort, and process donated goods.
• Track inventory and maintain accurate donation records.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Support volunteer, vendor, and delivery check-in processes.
• Follow safety, compliance, inventory control, and loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service, warehouse, nonprofit, or donation processing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Comfortable working with donors, volunteers, customers, and team members.
• Able to work independently and stay productive in a physically active role.
• Must be able to regularly move and lift 50-75 lbs. using proper equipment as needed.

Work Environment

This fully onsite role involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, unloading donations, and working in both indoor and outdoor areas. Candidates should be comfortable working in a warehouse setting and handling donated goods throughout the day.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour
