Love pets? Looking for flexible, part-time work that gets you outside and active? Join our growing team at Woofie’s of Barrington-Northwest! We offer Mobile Pet Grooming, Dog Walking and Pet Sitting in the Northwest suburbs. Barrington, Long Grove, Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods, 


We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and compassionate Dog Walker/Pet Sitter to provide loving care to our clients’ pets in their homes.

Responsibilities 

• Greet dogs, get them ready, and ensure they are safely secured (harness, collar, etc) 
• Walk dogs for the designated time 
• Clean up after any dogs in your care
• Use common sense and best dog walking practices to ensure dogs are safe and healthy while in your care

Qualifications

• Experience working with dogs of multiple breeds and sizes desired
• Strong time management and communication skills
• The ability to walk several miles each day in a variety of weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of dog safety
• Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy

Requirements:

• Must have your own reliable vehicle
• Smartphone with ability to use the Woofie’s app for scheduling, GPS tracking, visit updates, and communication
• Note - Woofie's does background check

Availability on select holidays is required
