We are searching for a compassionate dog groomer who loves to groom dogs! A successful Dog Groomer is knowledgeable and patient. We are looking for a motivated groomer to join our growing team with a path to advancement to Lead Groomer.

This Dog Groomer position requires:- At least two years of grooming experience, or graduation from a grooming school
- Knowledge of dog breeds, care standards, and the tools of the trade
- Strength to lift up to 70 pounds and stamina to stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment
Tasks:- Groom to Scenthound standards—the puppy cut: one length all over with a neat face
- Help create an environment of learning, open communication, and teamwork
- Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times
- Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices
- Take on other tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager
Skills and Abilities:- Clear communication with team members and dog parents
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Solid time management
- Ability to self-critique and hold yourself—and your team—to high grooming standards
