Document Management Technician - Washington, DC
Duration: 6 months (Onsite)
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
File, retrieve, and copy case file materials; create witness binders; prepare deposition and trial exhibits.
Enter data online to case files and other databases; proofread, edit, and correct text files.
Retrieve and manage documents and digital image media; assemble and label documents.
Perform quality control on peer work and prepare documents for image scanning.
Conduct simple database searches.
Required Skills:
Detail-oriented and able to work accurately under pressure.
Ability to read and follow instructions.
Understand tasks and their objectives within the litigation support effort.
Proactive in asking questions when instructions are unclear.
Typing/keyboarding and good communication skills.
Familiar with Government's office and network environment, including word processing, database, spreadsheet, imaging, and telecommunications systems.
Litigation support experience valued.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with intake and scanning paper claims and data entry into a case management system.
Expected Deliverables:
High volume of scanning completed in a short period without issues.
Accurate data entry with close attention to detail.
