Description & Requirements
The Document Management Engineer is responsible for providing third-line support, implementing enhancements, and maintaining the Firm's Document Management System (DMS). The role works closely with technology teams, support teams, and business stakeholders to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of document management solutions across the Firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality third-line support for end users through the ServiceNow assignment queue.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, upgrade, and enhancement of document management solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and on-site support teams to troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.
- Participate in system testing, upgrade planning, solution rollouts, and change management activities.
- Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with Document Management and Technology teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, operational checklists, project updates, and support documentation.
- Participate in training sessions, project meetings, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Deliver training and support to colleagues and end users through various formats, including in-person and virtual sessions.
- Promote secure computing practices and ensure compliance with Firm IT policies and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend enhancements to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements, Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience supporting and administering document management platforms, preferably iManage.
- Expert-level knowledge of iManage, including experience with recent versions and related components such as SPM, Mobile iManage, and RBRO integrations, is preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and modern information management solutions.
- Experience participating in product implementations, system enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing support activities.
- Experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT support, security best practices, and information governance principles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
