    As Shorr continues to grow and penetrate new markets at a highly accelerated pace, the need for supplier compliance documents collection, retention and tracking is accelerating at the same pace. In addition to traditional collection obligations, many customers are becoming more sophisticated which creates the requirement for documents to be directly submitted into their portals. These increased requests and demands have resulted in the need for a Document Control Specialist

    Responsibilities
    • Collects and maintains files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control technical or manufacturing processes.
    • Ensures timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
    • Collects, maintains, and distributes documents necessary to define product configuration and control technical processes that insure conformance to customer requirements.
    • Performs job in accordance with document control practices.
    • Provides customer service to different teams in regards to document retrieval.
    • Need to be able to comprehend and navigate customer portals.
    • Act as a liaison between Sales, Customers and Suppliers.
    • Upload documents into customer portals as needed.
    • Upload quarterly sales data for purchased from suppliers with a Diversity Designation

    Requirements
    • High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree Preferred
    • 1 to 2 years of customer service experience.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).  
    • Familiarity with Regulation Documentation preferred. (Letters of Guarantee, SFI, Diversity Certificates, etc.)

    This temporary position is not benefits eligible.
