    Docketing Specialist

    Location: 100% Remote                                                                               About the Role TempExperts is looking for an experienced Docketing Specialist to join a highly respected national law firm in a direct hire, 100% remote position, supporting various legal practice groups across the firm. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative docketing team that spans regions, ensuring accurate and timely legal calendaring in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and has the confidence to work both autonomously and collaboratively. Responsibilities
    • Review and analyze court filings and other documents to generate and manage critical deadlines using a rules-based docketing system.
    • Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to confirm case details and clarify procedural questions.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of state and federal litigation, appellate procedures, and related court rules.
    • Conduct legal rule and statute research as needed to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Stay current on docketing best practices, procedural developments, and rule amendments.
    • Mentor and train new team members on internal systems and standard operating procedures.
    • Review the work of junior docketing staff to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to policies.
    • Lead department-specific initiatives and contribute to special projects.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of docketing experience using systems like CompuLaw, CourtAlert, or eDockets.
    • In-depth knowledge of Florida court systems and applicable legal procedures.
    • Experience supporting multiple litigation areas including, but not limited to, civil, appellate, labor and employment, bankruptcy, and workers’ compensation.
    • Proven ability to interpret complex legal rules and guidelines accurately.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • High degree of professionalism, initiative, and commitment to delivering excellent service.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Willingness to work under tight deadlines and provide support outside regular hours when necessary.
