Dock Worker — Ridgefield, WA

This is a great chance to build hands-on experience in dock operations, shipping/receiving, and warehouse logistics while working with a team that prioritizes safety and reliability. Because operations run continuously, schedule variations or shifts outside typical business hours may occasionally be required.

Adecco is hiring Dock Workers in Ridgefield, WA to support a fast-paced freight dock operation. This role is critical to customer service and focuses on the safe, accurate, and timely handling of inbound and outbound freight.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

• Shift Options:

  • Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Safely load, unload, move, stage, receive, and ship freight in accordance with established procedures 

• Route freight to the appropriate trailers and use proper handling techniques to ensure accurate, damage-free shipments 

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety standards, OSHA guidelines, company policies, and customer requirements 

• Complete basic shipment-related administrative duties as needed 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong time management and organizational skills 

• Ability to work independently and remain productive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

• Safety-minded, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities while meeting deadlines 

• Ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 75 lbs. with assistance.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

This is an active, physical role that may include: 

• Repeated bending, lifting, reaching, stooping, standing, grasping, balancing, climbing, kneeling, and crouching 

• Walking distances (up to ~100 yards at times) 

• Working in a loud environment 

• Because operations run continuously, schedule variations or shifts outside typical business hours may occasionally be required

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
