We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dock Truck Driver to join our team in Minneapolis, MN, 55414. Responsibilities
- Operate 26ft or 30ft dock trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Qualifications
- Valid class D driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a dock or warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
