Description
- Manage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and project schedules
- Ensure compliance with NYC DOB regulations, site safety requirements, and company standards
- Drive project milestones while maintaining quality, budget, and schedule objectives
- Conduct site meetings and communicate progress with project stakeholders
- Review drawings, identify issues, and implement solutions in the field
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and daily logs
- Foster a safe and productive jobsite culture
Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent with a Commercial General Contractor
- Strong knowledge of NYC DOB regulations, permitting, inspections, and code compliance
- Experience managing commercial interiors, renovations, and construction projects in NYC
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain project schedules
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA certification and relevant NYC site safety credentials preferred
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of successfully managing fast-paced projects
