We are seeking someone with an exceptional customer service background and attention to detail to join our fast-paced DME Department as a DME Specialist. This position works closely with patients, providers, and other Sleep Clinic staff. This is a full-time, on-site position, with the opportunity to work a hybrid remote schedule after completing the training period.
Full-time / 40 hours per week
Monday- Friday / 8am- 5pm
Hybrid-Remote after 90-day training period with a minimum of 3-days in the office
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience in a clinic/medical facility required.
Experience in medical insurance for payers or government programs is preferred.
Experience in Brightree and/or EPIC preferred
Sleep-focused DME equipment experience preferred.
Job description and needs will entail but are not limited to:
Ensuring all patient referrals and documentation processes are completed accurately and efficiently, and within required timelines
Communicating with the team regarding completed, pending, or missing documentation
Creating and maintaining patient records and verifying insurance information for accurate billing
Scanning electronic records into patient accounts
Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
Filling resupply orders for patient pick up
Provide timely follow up for patients as needed
Prioritize work effectively and remain focused on intake responsibilities
Complete thorough documentation in patient accounts in a timely manner
Strong, professional verbal and written communication with patients, providers, and other clinic staff
Ability to work independently and respond to team messages and emails promptly
Detail oriented and highly organized
Quick learner in a fast-paced environment
