    ABOUT THE JOB
    Infinium Spirits is seeking a proven, dynamic, results-driven business executive to lead commercial performance across the Northeast and Southeast divisions in the role of Divisional Vice President. This executive leadership role will have accountability for the development, assessment and complete execution of all regional sales strategies for the complete portfolio. These strategies will accelerate growth, increase market share, strengthen distributor partnerships, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth of all brand families in the portfolio.
    Reporting directly to the President, the Divisional Vice President provides strategic leadership within the territories while ensuring consistent execution for all brands across all markets and sales channels. This individual will establish and track clear priorities, foster accountability, and drive a high-performance culture through acute communication and presentation skills, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration. This role must bring clear ownership of market prioritization, investment choices, and execution standards.
    The ideal candidate is a well-rounded commercial leader who balances strategic thinking with hands-on market engagement, understands the complexities of the three-tier system, and is passionate about developing people, strengthening distributor relationships, and delivering sustainable business results. This candidate should be as comfortable in the boardroom as they are selling on the street.
     
    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / THE DAY-TO-DAY
     
    Commercial Leadership & Business Performance
    • Develop and execute commercial strategies that drive sustainable, profitable growth, increase market share, and achieve depletion, shipment, revenue, and profitability objectives across the Northeast and Southeast divisions for all brands.
    • Establish clear priorities and business plans by brand, by market, channel, distributor, to ensure alignment with company financial objectives. This should translate into simple, measurable action plans with owners, timelines, and clear success measures.
    • Maintain accountability for divisional performance through consistent measurement of key performance indicators, identifying opportunities, removing barriers, and driving corrective actions when necessary.
    • Translate national brand and channel priorities into clear market-level execution plans, including targets, investment choices, owners, and timelines.
    • Drive accountability with distributor and sales team and adjust as required to achieve business objectives.
    • Lead rolling 12 business planning, forecasting, and performance reviews to ensure long-term commercial success.
    Market & Channel Accountability
    • Own commercial performance across all assigned markets and channels, ensuring execution against strategic priorities and financial objectives.
    • Evaluate market-level performance through business analytics, distributor scorecards, and sales trends to identify growth opportunities and improve execution.
    • Drive consistency in sales standards, pricing integrity, promotional effectiveness, and brand execution throughout the division.
    • Partner with distributors to strengthen execution, improve accountability, and maximize return on commercial investments.
    • Ensure distributor commitments are converted into measurable execution at the point of purchase against PODs, displays, menus, pricing, and velocity.
    Leadership & People Development
    • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop team, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Support team through regular market visits, business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and field coaching.
    • Establish clear expectations, performance goals, and development plans while fostering a high-performing, results-oriented sales organization.
    • Build organizational capability by identifying talent, developing future leaders, and promoting best practices across the division.
    • Assess team capability, identify performance gaps, and drive clear sales execution priorities below the line to ensure the team is focused, accountable, and delivering against the commercial plan.
    Distributor & Customer Partnerships
    • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with distributor leadership, key accounts, and strategic customers.
    • Conduct regular distributor business reviews focused on performance, execution, investment effectiveness, and future growth opportunities.
    • Partner with distributors to align commercial priorities, improve market execution, and ensure accountability for agreed-upon business objectives.
    • Evaluate and assess all potential distributors in the territory against the current portfolio to ensure the best strategic fit and best opportunity for route to market success.
    Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Serve as a strategic partner to Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment across commercial initiatives.
    • Maintain clear, timely, and consistent communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring business priorities, market insights, risks, and opportunities are effectively shared.
    • Bring the voice of the market back to the business in a clear, actionable way, especially where pricing, supply, or programming impacts execution.
    • Champion collaboration across departments to improve execution, streamline processes, and accelerate business performance.
    Market Presence & Execution
    • Maintain a significant field presence by regularly traveling within assigned markets to evaluate execution, support Regional Managers, strengthen customer relationships, and identify emerging opportunities.
    • Represent Infinium Spirits with professionalism while reinforcing company culture, values, and commercial standards.
    • Travel approximately 90–95%, including overnight travel, evenings, and occasional weekends, based on business needs.

    • 8+ years leading multi-state teams
    • Proven success leading teams of all levels.

    • Financial acumen (ROI, pricing, margin management)
    • Executive communication and presentation skills
    • Experience leading through KPIs and accountability
    • Demonstrated success building high-performing teams
    • Deep knowledge of all channels (On-Premise, Off-Premise, Control/Open States, Chains, Independent)
    • Experience managing distributor transitions, underperforming markets, and complex route-to-market decisions.
    • Willingness to be highly visible in market while operating as an executive leader.

    • Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), able to leverage these tools for strategic planning and reporting.
    • Organizational Mastery: Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills that optimize efficiency and drive successful outcomes.
    • Self-Starter & Team Player: Highly motivated and capable of initiating activities independently while also thriving in a collaborative team setting.
    • Sales & Marketing Expertise: In-depth understanding of marketing strategies, sales techniques, and product promotion, with a keen ability to drive sales through innovative methods.
    • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of pricing dynamics within the 3 Tier System and the ability to precisely navigate state and federal liquor laws.
    • Flexible & Committed: Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, including nights and weekends, to ensure brand success and market coverage.
     
    Physical Demands:
    • Standing and walking: working in retail or conducting field sales requires spending a significant amount of time on your feet; this could include standing for long periods or walking for extended periods throughout the day.
    • Lifting and carrying: this role may involve lifting and carrying product samples, promotional materials, or demonstration equipment up to 50 lbs.
    • Driving: a significant amount of time will be spent driving, so sitting for long periods, navigating through traffic, and handling the physical demands of operating a vehicle are required.  
    • Physical presentations: must be able to stand, gesture, and maintain a high level of energy and engagement throughout presentations to clients/potential customers.

    • Compensation for this position will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, leadership scope, qualifications, skills, geographic location, internal equity, and the needs of the business. This role may also be eligible for an annual bonus.
