Divisional Vice President of Transportation

The Divisional Vice President of Transportation reports directly to the COO and is responsible for setting the strategic direction, operating framework, and long-term vision of Lilys Dedicated Contract Carriage (DCC) business and alignment support with sister company, while maintaining direct oversight of a defined portfolio of key strategic accounts.

The DVP serves as a thought leader and architect of the DCC model, focusing on:

• Growth strategy
• Operational standardization
• Industry and technology advancement
• Strategic initiative execution

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & DCC Vision

• Play lead role to define and drive the long-term strategy and evolution of the DCC business across Lily
• Lead and sponsor high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that advance the DCC platform
• Support business development efforts on large or strategic opportunities, including solution design and executive engagement
• Establish and standardize best-in-class operating practices, policies, and performance frameworks across DCC
• Ensure alignment in contract structure, pricing discipline, and margin management philosophy

Operational Oversight

• Maintain executive oversight of a portfolio of high-value, complex, or strategic customer accounts
• Provide executive oversight of DCC financial performance, including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
• Drive initiatives that improve cost structure efficiency, and long-term profitability
• Oversee regulatory compliance strategy and ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and industry requirements
• Partner with Regional Directors to ensure consistent execution and service excellence across the network
• Drive accountability through performance visibility, metrics, and structured operating reviews
• Partner with Procurement and Finance on fleet lifecycle strategy, capital allocation, and vendor negotiations
• Support structuring of large, complex, or strategic customer agreements

Leadership & Organizational Development

• Develop and mentor senior operational leadership, including Regional Directors
• Strengthen leadership bench and ensure alignment to performance expectations and company strategy
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Partner with executive leadership to evolve organizational structure in support of growth
