Schedule/Hours: Full-Time

This position is responsible for:

Coordinates, processes, and tracks all grants and contracts administered by the division; serves as a technical resource to local corps applying for grants and contract funding. Seeks out and solicits new grant funding. Maintains current knowledge of issues related to grants and contract administration. Ensure the division's grants and contracts are in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, organizes, and processes contracts in their entirety for review by the Divisional Finance Board promptly to ensure turnaround time falls within the deadlines set by contracting agencies; reviews contracts for compliance with government regulations and Salvation Army policies; checks budget figures, reviews for accuracy and completeness.
  • Organizes and processes contracts to meet deadlines promptly; coordinates schedules both with Corps/Divisional Headquarters/Territorial Headquarters to meet specified timelines; serves as liaison/contact person between Corps and Territorial Headquarters in processing grants.
  • Assists CRD with community development and program/funding planning.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
  • Works is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
  • Work requires traveling to office sites located throughout the states of Kentucky and Tennessee.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field

Five years of progressively responsible experience performing grants management work,

Or

any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
