The Divisional Director of Sales leads growth across the division by building, developing, and inspiring a high-performing sales team. This role is accountable for revenue and census performance, strategic market development, and strong referral partnerships—all while ensuring ethical, compliant, and patient-centered sales practices.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a strategic sales professional who thrives in healthcare environments and enjoys partnering across clinical, operational, and administrative teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Liaisons to consistently achieve growth targets.
- Recruit, onboard, and train top-performing sales talent.
- Set performance expectations and conduct regular coaching, ride-alongs, and evaluations.
- Partner with Administrators to develop quarterly business plans aligned to divisional priorities.
- Analyze market trends, referral patterns, and competitive activity to guide strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners and key institutions.
- Lead weekly team planning sessions and monthly growth meetings with leadership.
- Collaborate with admissions, clinical, and operations teams to support seamless patient transitions.
- Track performance using CRM tools and report results to senior sales leadership.
- Ensure all sales activity is ethical, compliant, and aligned with regulatory standards.
- Monitor industry changes and payment models to inform long-term growth planning.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of successful sales experience; healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of sales leadership or people management experience.
- Proven ability to build, motivate, and hold teams accountable.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to ethical sales practices and patient-centered care.
