Position is Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

Incumbent should reside within the Arvest 4 State Operational Footprint (AR, KS, MO, OK).

Preferred Qualification: Previous experience working in the fraud and/or BSA divisions of a financial institution.

SUMMARY: The Division Reporting Specialist utilizes data visualization techniques to create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide division management with data-driven insights, including but not limited to risk, marketing, sales, collections and quality metrics. The incumbent is responsible for responding to ad hoc requests for additional reporting needs and supports division management with understanding the information contained in the reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Utilize data visualization techniques to create dashboards and reports to summarize various datasets and/or identify trends and patterns; continually update and maintain the dashboards and reports.
  • Provide support to division management regarding the data contained in reports and dashboards, in both written and oral communication.
  • Respond to and create ad hoc report requests from division management utilizing structured query language (SQL).
  • Gather and analyze data; assess data validity and usability, synthesize data into datasets to support key initiatives.
  • Continually improve data management methods; proactively suggest opportunities to avoid problems and anticipate future data needs.
  • Support other associates with the effective use of various reports and dashboards. Schedule training and meetings with division management and associates as needed.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Responsibilities:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience required.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau and Excel) preferred.
  • Experience in data discovery and data cleansing preferred.
  • Proficiency in structured query language (SQL) and relational databases preferred.
  • Financial and/or consumer loan experience preferred.
