ASUs Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation MLFC and the Division for Advancing Education Policy Practice and Leadership invites applications to establish a pool for Faculty Associates in the Special Education Applied Behavior Analysis Program for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Successful candidates will teach online courses under the direction of the Program coordinator, evaluate student work, and assist students with mastery of course and Program objectives. The Special Education Applied Behavior Analysis program welcomes applications from candidates who align with ASUs charter and are committed to inclusive excellence and student success. The successful candidate will also advance ASUs Design Aspirations through teaching and service.

Faculty Associate positions are one semester, 7.5 or 15 weeks, non-benefits-eligible, and fixed-term appointments with no tenure implications, not to exceed 0.40 FTE. The number of courses is contingent upon needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Individuals hired as Faculty Associates may not hold multiple non-benefits-eligible appointments at Arizona State University. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load.

This recruitment is to establish a part-time hiring pool for temporary and semester appointments. Applications are considered for the current year only. Applicants who are not hired are encouraged to reapply for the next posting.

Essential Duties

This position serves as a lead instructor and includes online teaching, providing leadership and guidance to assigned course co-instructors, academic associates, reviewing student assignments, providing constructive feedback, grading, meeting synchronously via Zoom with students individually or in small groups as needed, responding to student inquiries within 24 hours, 7 days a week, maintaining a positive and supportive environment, and remaining in ongoing communication with lead instructor and instructional team through the course and 10 business days following submission of final grades.
