Description

Description: Drive Sales and Coach Upselling Coach upselling hands-on: model suggestive selling at the register during peak hours, run role-plays with General Managers (GMs) and shift leaders, and provide same-day feedback to crew members. Analyze weekly metrics (attachment rate, average check, transactions, local store marketing return) and hold GMs accountable to targets. Implement written recovery plans for stores missing targets, ensuring clear ownership and due dates. Roll out new add-ons and promotions with comprehensive coaching plans, not just memos. Recruit, Train, and Develop Leaders Own the management pipeline end-to-end: source, interview, hire, onboard, and certify new GMs and shift leaders. Conduct documented bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with each GM, focusing on development plans and clear promotion paths. Maintain a district talent map with named successors for every GM role to ensure leadership continuity. Champion Quality and Operational Excellence Verify critical controls on every store visit: food safety, Quality Service & Cleanliness (QSC), staff deployment, guest journey, and equipment status. Ensure every store meets or exceeds Jamba brand audit standards. Assign clear owners, due dates, and proof of completion for all operational corrections. Track repair aging and vendor ETAs, implementing temporary controls for unresolved issues. Control Financials (Sales, Labor, and COGS) Review weekly dashboards covering Sales, Labor, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Local Store Marketing (LSM), and guest satisfaction. Audit schedules against sales forecasts to ensure optimal labor productivity and manager coverage during peak hours. Strictly control COGS variance, waste, FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices, pars, and portioning across all locations. Strategic Routing and Reporting Execute a strategic weekly routing plan, completing 3–5 purposeful, clustered store visits per week across the tri-county area. Provide a comprehensive weekly update to the Director of Operations covering performance, people, operations, and upcoming priorities. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience leading restaurant or retail teams as a General Manager or in a multi-unit district role, with a documented track record of growing sales and developing managers. Coaching Skills: Ability to actively coach upselling and operational standards on the store floor, rather than just managing from the back office. Financial Acumen: Comfortable reading, analyzing, and acting on P&L, labor, and COGS reports to correct variances. Certifications: Current Food Safety Manager Certification, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire. Mobility: Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and the willingness to drive extensively across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties weekly. Preferred Qualifications: Multi-unit experience specifically in Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) or fast-casual dining. Previous experience with Jamba, smoothie, juice, or beverage concepts. Direct experience hiring, training, and certifying management teams. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
