Call Outs:
This role is hybrid ( Tues- Thurs in office and Mon/Fri from home) at the Lehigh Service Center or at Walbert in PA.
Role is heavy in data programming will be working in excel frequently so solid understanding is required.
PYTHON experience 1 yr is preferred
Computer Programming background preferred
Bachelors degree required
Computer literacy in essential functions like Outlook, virtual desktop and Teams are required.
MODBUS 2030.5 experience preferred
Requirements for Distribution Operations DER Engineer
Background and experience in the following areas:
Distributed Energy Resource (DER) planning and evaluating system impacts
DER standards including energy storage (battery), solar PV inverters
Working knowledge of IEEE 1547.2018 and UL 1741
Voltage optimization, hosting capacity, and power flow analysis
DER standards including energy storage (battery), solar PV inverters
Communications of remotely operable distribution devices
Working knowledge of IEEE 1547.2018 and UL 1741
Support to the development of the DER Management program at the company such as voltage management, network communication, data mapping, process development, and system operations requirements to manage distributed energy resources.
Experience in voltage management and DER reporting is a preferred requirement to succeed in this role.
