Distribution Clerk

The Distribution Clerk is responsible for supporting warehouse and inventory operations by ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of spare parts, maintenance materials, and inventory-related activities. This role works closely with operations and maintenance teams to maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate shipments, and support equipment maintenance requirements.

Location: Onsite - Farmers Branch, TX
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Position Summary

The Distribution Clerk is responsible for supporting warehouse and inventory operations by ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of spare parts, maintenance materials, and inventory-related activities. This role works closely with operations and maintenance teams to maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate shipments, and support equipment maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship spare parts and preventive maintenance (PM) kits to support operational needs.

• Receive incoming materials and update inventory records, bills of materials (BOM), and spare parts inventory as required.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and support inventory control processes in accordance with established procedures.

• Prepare freight shipments and coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries.

• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.

• Ensure materials are distributed accurately and within established timelines.

• Maintain organized inventory records and warehouse documentation.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, distribution, inventory, or logistics experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and basic computer applications.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management.

This position offers an opportunity to contribute to warehouse and inventory operations while supporting the efficient movement of materials and maintenance supplies in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
