Support the reliability, resiliency, and operational efficiency of the power grid with Minnesota Power.
We''re seeking a Distribution Automation Engineer II to help drive the modernization and reliability of our electric distribution system. In this role, you'll design, plan, implement, maintain, and optimize advanced automation technologies, including Distribution Automation (DA), SCADA, Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS), Fault Location, Isolation, and Service Restoration (FLISR) applications, communication networks, and other control technologies that enhance grid performance, system resiliency, and customer reliability.

Two years of related engineering experience PLUS certification as an Engineer-in-Training.
A master's degree in engineering may be equivalent for up to one year of related experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to project sites.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills required to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match, and/or aptitude.
