Experienced operating PIT/forklifts, with a proven track record of safely loading and unloading dry van and flatbed trucks
Experienced with RF scanners and SAP
Proficient with desktop computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and email
Detail-oriented, organized, punctual, and dependable
Self-motivated and able to work effectively under general supervision
Customer-focused with strong internal and external customer service skills
Personable and effective working independently or as part of a small team
Strong verbal communication, basic reading, writing, and numerical skills
Able to safely operate powered equipment, including forklifts and hydraulic jack lifts
Able to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities
Perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products
Receive incoming goods, verify items against shipping records, and inspect shipments for condition and accuracy
Gather, verify, package, and prepare items for shipment according to specifications and transportation requirements
Record received and shipped materials using established procedures and computerized documentation systems
Route materials, supplies, and equipment to appropriate inspection or stock areas
Maintain accurate written and electronic shipping and receiving records
Identify and appropriately handle routine exceptions in shipping and receiving processes
Safely load and unload trucks using appropriate powered material-handling equipment
