Job Summary
We are seeking a Distribution Associate to support warehouse and material distribution operations. This is a hands-on manual labor position involving primarily manual unloading of 18-wheeler trucks, along with some forklift and material-handling duties.
Important: This is not a straight forklift operator position. Candidates must be comfortable performing both manual labor and forklift/material-handling work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload materials from 18-wheeler trucks.
- Safely lift, move, stack, and organize boxes and pallets.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (MHE).
- Locate and place pallets into racks and designated storage locations.
- Verify product numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates.
- Use RF scanners and inventory systems to receive and track materials.
- Build and organize pallets according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all safety, quality, and warehouse procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of relevant warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must be willing and able to perform manual labor and forklift duties.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Experience using RF scanners/MHE preferred.
- Ability to read and follow warehouse/manufacturing documents.
- Basic organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. as required.
