Dispensary LeadPosition OverviewThe Lead assists in overseeing the daily operations and transactions of the dispensary. The Lead reports directly to the Dispensary Manager. The Lead is also responsible for supporting the staff and executing the company's goals and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:Report directly to assistant manager or managerDepartment main immediate point of contact for teamMake sure team stays on track Update assistant manager or manager with any issues that need immediate attentionMake sure team is following all standard operating procedures and company policiesAny HR / personnel issues should be directed to the assistant managerMake sure team is acting in an appropriate manner with customers and co-workersIf the lead sees any issues that are occurring with any employees immediately bring to the manager or assistant managers attentionEnsure the dispensary's compliance with security, inventory and local and state regulationsManage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer serviceEnsure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employeeCommunicate with management on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's excellence in service Ensure employees follow company protocols.Train employeesCreate a warm and welcoming environment for staff and customersOther duties as assigned Performance Requirements and SkillsFamiliarity with point-of-sale systems.Practical and pro-active thinkingAttention to detail, organized and patientMultitaskingIn depth knowledge of cannabisAbility to read, analyze, and interpret documents relating to dispensary performance, general business periodicals, professional journals, safety, security and technical procedures, and governmental regulationsAbility to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with staff and customers.Ability to work under pressure without losing composure.Friendly, warm personality. Job Requirements:Lead or Management experience preferred but not required1+ years of cannabis retail experience requiredMust be able to pass a background checkMust be 21 years of ageMust possess a valid license or state IDMust be available to work varied hours and/or days, including nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Qualifications: Bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves and 75+ pounds with a buddy, ability to be on standing or sitting for long periods of time.
