Essential Functions:

Theâ¯Dispatcherâ¯manages and coordinates the daily logistical operations for all deliveries to construction sites. This role oversees operational dispatch functions and ensuresâ¯timely,â¯accurate, and efficient service. Theâ¯Dispatcherâ¯plays a vital roleâ¯in communicating withâ¯departmentâ¯in meeting customer demands,â¯optimizingâ¯routing efficiency, andâ¯maximizing productivity.â¯
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatchâ¯equipment,â¯haulers,â¯materialsâ¯and delivery personnel inâ¯a safe and efficient manner while maximizing productivityâ¯
- Dispatching equipment to meet productivity needsâ¯
- Maintain dispatch operations to meet or exceed Riley Brothers compliance targetsâ¯
- Manage material verification for each truck prior to deliveryâ¯
- Establish andâ¯maintainâ¯strong relationships with internal teams and external partnersâ¯
- Demonstrate experience working in a fast-paced environmentâ¯
- Communicate effectively with customers, sales, and managementâ¯regardingâ¯logistical updatesâ¯
- Maintain professional, courteous contact before, during, and after dispatch operationsâ¯
- Instruct driversâ¯in the event ofâ¯logistical or customer service issuesâ¯
- Confirm all details—including address, materials, and stocking conditions—before trucks leave the yardâ¯
- Report any concerns directly to the Director of Operationsâ¯
- Adhere to company policies, DOT, and OSHA standardsâ¯
- Perform basic math calculations quickly and accuratelyâ¯
- Be assertive and proactive when necessaryâ¯
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skillsâ¯
- Read maps quickly and provide directions accuratelyâ¯

Experience and Education:
- Two or more years of experience in a related industryâ¯
- Strong organizational and project management skillsâ¯

- Proficiencyâ¯in Microsoft Office Suiteâ¯
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
- Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)â¯background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
