Lingo Staffing is hiring a Dispatcher for a leading manufacturing partner in Roanoke, VA!This is a great opportunity for skilled warehouse and material handling professionals with forklift and/or overhead crane experience who are looking for steady hours, competitive pay, and long-term growth in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate forklift and/or overhead crane to move raw materials and finished goods
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently
- Transport materials to and from production areas
- Stage and organize finished products for shipment
- Store raw materials in designated locations according to company standards
- Maintain inventory accuracy and follow material handling procedures
- Occasionally use hand tools and read basic blueprints as needed
- Maintain safety and productivity standards in a manufacturing environment
Requirements:- Previous forklift and/or overhead crane experience required
- Ability to lift 50100 lbs throughout the shift
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Basic computer and math skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment
- Ability to follow written instructions and read basic production documents
