Responsibilities:- Manage daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of shipments.
- Communicate effectively with drivers and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Utilize dispatch software to track vehicle locations and optimize routes.
- Monitor driver performance and adherence to safety regulations.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of cargo.
- Assist in training new dispatch team members on procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and vehicle maintenance.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and adjust schedules as needed.
Requirements:- Proven experience in dispatch or logistics coordination preferred.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding or Dispatching
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
