Qualifications: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends, and holidays. Must be able to multi-task, provide exceptional service during stressful situations and work well in a team environment. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of emergency medical services, law enforcement and fire organization operations. Ability to operate basic computer systems and type efficiently (suggested 40wpm+) Ability to exercise good judgement and logical thought patterns during emergencies and heavy workloads.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing in routine and emergency situations. Ability to gain control of calls through active listening, remaining calm and showing appropriate objectivity/empathy.
