Dispatcher / Pilot Car Agent

LOCATION

North Fort Worth, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $21.00 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; rotating Saturdays, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

ROLE IMPACT

Support the coordination of pilot car services for permitted oversize and overweight loads. This role works closely with drivers, internal teams, and pilot car providers to ensure arrangements, required documentation, and invoices are handled accurately and on time. Success requires strong organization, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, time-sensitive transportation environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate pilot car arrangements for permitted oversize and overweight loads when escort services are required.

• Verify required paperwork is accurate, complete, and submitted on time to support pilot car coordination.

• Review, approve, and process pilot car invoices for payment.

• Assist pilot car companies with setup and travel arrangements related to permitted loads.

• Communicate with drivers, internal team members, and pilot car providers to keep time-sensitive arrangements on track.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong computer skills with the ability to accurately manage documentation and multiple priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication, professional phone etiquette, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.

• Computer-based transportation and administrative systems

• Electronic documentation and invoice processing

• Phone and email communication

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Previous transportation, trucking, logistics, permitting, or oversize/overweight load experience.

• Ability to prioritize changing workloads in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong teamwork, information retention, and follow-through.
