Dispatch Manager - Auto Parts Delivery

Supervise Delivery Drivers including but not limited to timely deliveries, time clock management, atmosphere, and shift coverage. Primary responsibility is proficiently managing the delivery and return of parts in a cost effective, error-free, timely manner.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Our Dispatch Manager works with Parts Specialists, Parts Pullers and Shipping Department. Primary responsibility is proficiently managing the delivery and return of parts in a cost effective, error-free, timely manner. Other duties include managing the delivery vehicle fleet. Directly supervise 10 part-time delivery drivers shift.

JOB DUTIES:

• Organize deliveries so they are ready to go every time a driver walks in the door.
• Process all returns from drivers quickly and efficiently.
• Supervise Delivery Drivers including but not limited to timely deliveries, time clock management, atmosphere, and shift coverage.
• Manage cleanliness of dock and both back entryways including shoveled and are free of ice.
• Manage the delivery vehicle fleet, schedule/track maintenance, wear, cleanliness.
• Assist Parts Pullers to achieve timely deliveries.
• Communicate, teach and make sure all drivers have what they need to succeed.

You'll also need to be able to:

• Be a good, positive teammate, and enjoy helping the team achieve goals.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Push utility carts up to 60 pounds.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards.
• Be computer capable; Microsoft Email, Word and Excel.
  • Learn and utilize a Proprietary Integrated Inventory Software.

Ability to work in a team environment and own your own. Strong listening and ability to follow direction. Trustworthy work ethic, prompt attendance. Goal oriented and dedication to excellence. Personality is key, the rest we’re willing to train.

Job Type: Full-time Shift (7:30 to 5:00 Monday thru Friday) variable according to applicant.
