Dishwasher

Luther Manor is seeking a Part Time and Limited Full-Time Dishwasher to maintain ??sanitation of dishes, utensils and dishwasher areas.?

Essential Job Functions:

• Rinses, loads and washes dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
• ?Unloads and store clean dishes from the washing/drying rack.
• ?Buses tables and transports dishes to the dishwasher area or dining room.
• ?Assists serving residents and helps cooks when needed.
• ?Responsible for overall cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and equipment, and observe and report need to repair equipment.
• ?Retrieves items (utensils, food, etc) when requested on a daily basis.
• ?Takes out the trash as needed each shift
• ?Follows state and federal regulations, as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Dining Department Policy and Procedure Manuals, Human Resources Manual, and Resident Bill of Rights, and adheres to safety rules.
• ?Other duties as assigned.
• ?May be required to bend, stoop, stretch, lift, and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds (full garbage can or large Baker's Dish/Bowl).
• ?May have to push or pull heavy carts to dining rooms in Home, Health Center, and/or Special Care Center, with push/pull force of up to 44 pounds.
• ?Maintains sanitary conditions in dishwasher area as stated by Federal, State and Luther Manor codes (Wash Cycle at least160 degrees Fahrenheit/71 degrees Celsius and Rinse Cycle at 180 degrees Fahrenheit/82 degrees Celsius).
• ?Ability to be able to interact in a positive and tactful manner to residents at various care levels.
• ?Work effectively both as a team member and self-directed.
• ?Must be able to work at a high cycle time of less than 1 minute per wash/rinse cycle continuously for up to an hour at a time.
• ?Requires repetitive use of both upper extremities using traditional grip, pinch grip and three jaw chuck grip to continuously move items washed to/from racks and storage areas 6 inches above ground height to up to 72 inches height.
