    Behind every well-executed culinary experience is a stewarding operation that is prepared, organized, and held to a high standard. As the Stewarding Supervisor, you provide the hands-on leadership that keeps kitchens, banquet operations, and culinary teams equipped to perform at their best. You guide stewards, dishwashers, pot room associates, floor runners, and night-cleaning teams while balancing sanitation, supply readiness, service support, and associate performance. Your leadership assists in creating the consistency and readiness that set the scene for exceptional culinary experiences to unfold seamlessly.

    What You Will Create

    • A clean, sanitary, and service-ready culinary environment by setting clear standards for dishwashing, pot washing, kitchen areas, storage spaces, and stewarding operations
    • Reliable support for culinary and banquet teams by coordinating stewards and floor runners so china, glassware, silverware, equipment, food, and other service needs are prepared and delivered where they are needed, when they are needed
    • An efficient stewarding operation by organizing daily assignments, monitoring performance, managing supplies, and reducing waste, loss, and unnecessary resource use
    • A confident and capable team by providing direction, reinforcing standards, and developing practical training around stewarding procedures, sanitation, and the safe use of chemicals and cleaning products
    • Consistent readiness for daily service and special events by anticipating supply needs, maintaining appropriate inventory, preparing service equipment, and ensuring culinary and banquet areas have what they need to succeed
    • Stronger culinary execution through hands-on support when needed, including assisting chefs with meal plating and stepping in wherever operational demands require
    • A culture of accountability and teamwork by communicating expectations clearly, responding to changing priorities with composure, and helping associates understand the importance of their contribution to the larger culinary operation

    Qualifications

    • Previous stewarding, kitchen, culinary, hospitality, or related operational experience preferred
    • Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred, with demonstrated ability to provide direction, reinforce standards, and support associate development
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English and work collaboratively with culinary, banquet, and resort teams
    • Ability to follow established procedures and safely use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and other tools associated with stewarding operations
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
    • Ability to meet the physical demands of an active stewarding operation and remain engaged throughout the scheduled shift
    • Ability to report to work on time in a clean uniform with name tag and maintain appearance according to Nemacolin standards
