Job description:Dishwasher – Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. In this essential role, you will help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Your dedication to cleanliness and teamwork will support the kitchen staff and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, cookware, utensils, trays, and kitchen tools according to sanitation and food safety standards.Wash and sanitize items by hand when necessary.Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked with cleaning supplies.Remove trash and recycling, replace liners, and keep waste disposal areas clean.Sweep and mop kitchen floors and clean sinks, workstations, and storage areas.Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing clean dishes and kitchen equipment.Support the kitchen team with basic cleaning and other assigned duties as needed.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each shift.QualificationsPrevious dishwasher or food service experience is preferred but not required.Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle heavy racks, pots, and pans.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Join our team and play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly.
