Our Bohemia store is seeking a FT Dishwasher for their Kitchen team!
Our Dishwasher will be responsible for:
- Washing plates, dishes, utensils, baking dishes/sheets and all other dirty Kitchen ware.
- Cleaning appliances and industrial equipment as needed.
- Emptying and cleaning trash receptacles.
- Other duties, as needed.
Dishwasher Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the availability of clean dishes, baking pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, serving spoons/tools by washing all items that need to be washed and cleaned.
- Preparing Kitchen area stations with clean cooking utensils, tools, pots, pans, bowls, plates, etc.
- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the Kitchen.
- Being responsible for removing the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
- Supporting other kitchen staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
- Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
Dishwasher Requirements:
- 18 years or older.
- Previous experience working as a dishwasher is a plus.
- Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
