About the Role:Fork & Knife LLC in Flemington, NJ is looking for a hardworking and dependable Dishwasher/Buss Person to join our team! This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that keeps our dining room and kitchen running smoothly. If you take pride in a clean, organized workspace and love being part of a great restaurant team, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:- Wash, sanitize, and organize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain dining room flow
- Assist servers and kitchen staff during high-volume service periods
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station, kitchen floors, and back-of-house areas
- Restock supplies such as clean dishes, glassware, and silverware throughout the shift
- Remove trash and maintain proper waste disposal procedures
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Requirements:- No prior experience required — a positive attitude and strong work ethic are a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment under pressure
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
