Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Wash soiled dishes, glassware and kitchen equipment.  Assist in the cleaning and sanitary upkeep of the Club’s kitchens.

 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Wash soiled dishes, glassware and kitchen equipment, responding to the needs of the front of house and kitchen staffs in a timely fashion.
  • Dispose of garbage and recycling in the appropriate receptacles.  Maintain the cleanliness of the containers.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors and walk-in refrigeration on a regular schedule established by the Executive Chef.
  • Change dish machine water as necessary to ensure cleanliness of tableware.
  • Organize and properly store plates, silverware and glassware in their appropriate areas.
  • Assist in the storage, organization and rotation of products from food deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station at all times.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment in good working order.  Report any problems to your immediate supervisor.  Take corrective action, as necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation of banquet and a la carte food, as directed by your immediate supervisor.
  • Assist in the preparation of cold salads and platters for banquets and a la carte, as directed by your immediate supervisor.
  • Ensure all refrigeration is locked and food products properly secured at the closing of the kitchen.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to respond to fluctuations in business levels.
  • Report to work on time and prepared for your shift.
  • Work your schedule as posted.  Do not punch in or out early or late without permission from your immediate supervisor.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with front of house and kitchen staffs, and co-workers.
  • Perform other tasks or duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
