Dish & Kitchen Steward (Event Support)
Location: Ashbourne Farms | LaGrange, KY
 
Every high-end dinner starts with a clean plate. In this role, you are the backbone of the kitchen. You make sure our chefs and servers have exactly what they need to provide a world-class experience for our guests.
 
Ashbourne Farms is located just outside of Louisville, KY in scenic LaGrange, KY and hosts a myriad of high-end luxury events such as weddings, corporate outings, concerts and shows, and private events throughout the year.
 
Pay & Schedule
  • Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour.
  • Hours: Mostly evenings and weekends during events.
  • Type: Part-time and seasonal. Our busiest months are April through November.
What You’ll Do:
This is a high-energy manual labor job. You will be moving throughout your entire shift to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, expensive glassware, and heavy cooking equipment.
  • Keep the dish area and kitchen floors clean, safe, and organized.
  • Be on your feet for 6 to 10 hours at a time, moving quickly to keep up with the pace of the event.
  • Lift and carry racks of dishes or kitchen supplies weighing up to 40 pounds.
Who We Are Looking For:
  • You are someone the team can count on to show up for every scheduled event.
  • You can work fast and stay focused when the kitchen gets busy.
  • You are happy to jump in and help the chefs or the setup crew when needed.
  • You have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a "can-do" attitude.
