HCT seeks an experienced nurse professional to serve as the Interim Stroke Coordinator for a 250+ bed hospital in California. Responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating disease-specific certification programs with a strong focus on the Stroke Program, driving quality improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and serving as a clinical resource for physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- The role focuses on improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, education, data analysis, and performance improvement while maintaining compliance with Joint Commission and other disease-specific certification standards.
Requirements:
- Education: RN required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Requires recent experience in stroke program management, including reporting, process and policy development, staff education, and Joint Commission (TJC) standards. Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements.
- License: Active State of California RN license required
- Certifications: Clinical Nurse Specialist/Nurse Practitioner certification preferred, BLS
- EMR: Epic experience required
Salary: $165k plus sign-on bonus
