    Job at a Glance

    Title: Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Specialist
    Location: Remote - located near Two PNC Plaza (Pittsburgh), may be asked to come onsite for training.
    Contract: W2 only, 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
    Pay: $45-$50/hour W2 
    Shift: Flexibility for second and third shifts 

    Overview

    This role involves supporting business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The specialist will respond to major disaster events, support infrastructure and CIAM continuity, and act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Disaster recovery and incident response
    • Oversee testing, emergency response, and recovery planning
    • Guide operating strategies for business continuity
    • Support crisis management, contingency planning, and live event response
    • Maintain business continuity lifecycle documentation
    • Monitor compliance and readiness
    • Liaise with audit and regulatory bodies
    • Develop and deliver training materials
    • Communicate disruptions and response plans across the business

    Required Skills

    • Crisis management, incident/event response
    • Enterprise-level business continuity/resiliency experience
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow
    • Experience with technology risk within financial institutions
    • Regulatory and/or audit exam experience
    • Adherence to internal risk and control frameworks
    • Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively
    • High-level critical thinking and ownership skills

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with crisis management tools: Everbridge, Visual Command Center (VCC), VEOCI
    • Proficiency in Tableau
    • Experience with Fusion Risk Management (BCH)
    • Familiarity with KY3P (Know Your Third Party)
    • CBCP/DRI certifications
    • Analytical background
    • Agile/Scrum certifications (plus)
