Kforce has a client that is seeking a Disaster Recovery Project Manager in Orem, UT. Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Project Manager to lead enterprise disaster recovery and business resiliency initiatives. This individual will manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, testing activities, and stakeholder communication while coordinating technical and business teams. The ideal candidate combines strong IT project management fundamentals with direct experience supporting disaster recovery, infrastructure, business continuity, or resiliency projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience leading complex technology initiatives
  • Experience managing Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, Infrastructure, or Resiliency projects
  • Experience defining project requirements, milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience managing project plans, risk registers, status reports, and project documentation
  • Agile project management experience
  • Hands-on Jira experience for project planning, backlog management, tracking, and reporting
  • Strong project management fundamentals: scope, schedule, budget, risk, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder management
  • Strong meeting facilitation, communication, and project-status reporting skills
  • Ability to coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership
Preferred/Nice to Have:
  • PMP, Scrum Master, Agile, or related project management certification
  • Experience leading disaster-recovery testing, failover exercises, recovery planning, or readiness assessments
  • Experience with cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology projects
  • Experience within higher education or a large enterprise environment
  • Familiarity with business continuity and organizational resiliency programs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
