    Description

    Role Summary

    Serve as the execution lead for Disaster Recovery (DR) program initiatives across Tier 0-3 business applications supporting application onboarding, recovery strategy development, DR testing coordination, and remediation tracking. This is a hands-on, technical role spanning multiple platforms and requiring strong communication and stakeholder management.
    • 100% Remote for candidates within drivable distance of Allentown, PA
    • 12 month contract with potential for extension and permanent conversion
    • $65-$75 / HR + Benefits options (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead DR assessments and recovery strategy workshops with application owners and technical teams
    • Develop and maintain DR documentation, including Recovery Plans, Runbooks, Test Plans, and After Action Reports
    • Coordinate DR testing (annual exercises, failovers, readiness assessments) and drive follow-up actions
    • Analyze application dependencies, RTO/RPO, and recovery requirements; identify gaps and risks
    • Own remediation tracking from identification through closure; provide clear status and accountability
    • Support/partner on ServiceNow BCM processes and integrations (including CMDB alignment)
    • Produce executive-ready reporting, metrics, and program updates

    Required Qualifications

    • 6–8+ years in Disaster Recovery, Infrastructure, and/or Business Continuity
    • Strong understanding of DR governance, recovery planning, and testing practices
    • Experience collaborating across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (documentation + executive reporting)

    Preferred Skills / Tools

    • ServiceNow BCM / CMDB
    • Azure (or comparable cloud environments)
    • Familiarity with IT governance processes
