PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Disassemble machines, identify and prepare components and parts for inventory; Assist with the direction and coordination of the warehouse activities in a manner that achieve standards of performance, security of parts inventories, and the maintenance of storage facilities and equipment, as well as maximizes service to customers.

Flexibility to disassemble/assemble components, refurbish, clean, paint, scrap, warehouse, sell parts and perform clerical duties.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
Education: High School Graduate
Work Experience: Two years of related experience with at least one year of warehousing experience or related similar work experience with Gregory Poole Equipment Company; or at least two successful and stable years performing routine mechanical repair, assembly, loading and unloading machines.
Physical: Must be able to daily and repeatedly stoop, kneel, bend and climb onto and underneath various equipment to perform disassembly and repair activities. Must be able to effectively see to perform job duties, research technical manuals and develop written repair work order reports. Must be able to handle parts up to 50 pounds, as well as use mechanical hoist for heavier components and parts.
Other: Field activities require a valid state driver's license (to obtain within 30 days of hire a valid license within the state of GPEC's operation) and possess a safe driving record, as outlined in our GPEC Motor Vehicle Policy. Some vehicles may require having or obtaining a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Must have key boarding exposure and versatility. Sufficient hand tools to satisfy the work requirements of Technician I.
